TVOR Episode 17 Take Action

Recovery is such a challenging journey, but the process offers so much hope for a fulfilling
life. Two elements that play a crucial role in this journey are accountability and action. Accountability helps us
take ownership of our actions and choices, acknowledging the consequences we have faced. It involves being honest with oneself
and others, seeking support from loved ones or a support group, and being willing to make amends. Taking action is equally
important, as it requires us to actively participate in our recovery by implementing new healthy habits, engaging in
therapy or counseling, and making necessary lifestyle changes. Through accountability and action, individuals can break free
from the chains of addiction and pave the way for a brighter, healthier future. All of this can make us feel overwhelmed and sometimes
we just want to quit. Those are the days this podcast is for. Helping you find a way to stand up on a day you do not want to stand up

Episode 16, Fall in love with the Verb

In this episode, we jump into a world of motivation for change. This is a powerful look at the best way to
get off your ass and get moving. So much of my time has been spent spinning my wheels in a perpetual state of fear.
This will not answer every question, but it will get you thinking and it might even get you moving.
So fall in love with the Verb, not the now, and Listen today.#unitedhearts

Adapt and Grow

In this episode, we discuss the ability to find adaptation, flexibility, and acceptance. These skills create the capacity to embrace change, challenge yourself, and create new growth. We are way stronger than we realize and this episode is about you figuring that out! #unitedhearts

Episode 14 Trigger warning! Let’s talk relapse.

In behavioral health and recovery, we often consider the day we “fall off the wagon” as our relapse. However, the relapse starts long before, in our heads. In this episode, we will dig into the struggle and discuss the reality of relapse. We are all worth it, stay in the fight. You matter. #unitedhearts

Podcast 13 Acceptance and Flexibilty.

Flexibility and acceptance are two essential concepts in recovery. Flexibility allows us to adapt to changing circumstances and situations, which is important in recovery because we often face unexpected challenges and setbacks. Acceptance, on the other hand, allows us to come to terms with our past and present circumstances, including our addiction and its consequences. By accepting our situation, we can move forward and focus on what we can control, rather than dwelling on what we cannot change. Together, flexibility and acceptance help us to build resilience, manage stress, and maintain a positive outlook on life in recovery.#unitedhearts

Episode 12 What is on the other side of your fear?

Today’s episode is huge! What is on the other side of your fear? Today we explore this very question. Yes, indeed today we will be delving deep into the topic of facing your fears head-on and teaching them to work for you.
