Wow, this is the second one of your podcasts that I have listened to….My son recently walked out of his 3rd recovery program. The program has a powerful four day seminar for families as we tend to get lost in the addicts recovery process. I have been dealing with his addiction/dual diagnosis for 16 years and knew quite a bit about the realities of addiction as to what it does to family. To hear you two acknowledge and talk about the pain and realizing the effects on you family has me in tears and yet gives me hope that someday my son will choose recovery for himself……in the meantime my self care and recovery is what I am focusing on……Bless you two for sharing your stories…
